My play scripts are provided FREE to use and perform. I have no requirements for you to use them how you please. You may use them as written, or you may edit, alter, add, or remove material as needed for your production. Think of them like recipies - keep what you like, take out what you don't, and add what you want. I would love to see what others do with their productions, and I am happy to have discussions or answer questions about anything!
Fource Upon A Time is an anthology collection of four separate stories, each a unique take on the “fairy tale” genre.
Act 1: Princess and the Pirate is a “classic” by-the-numbers tale.
Act 2: The Prince(ss) and the Patriarchy is a “modern” spin.
Act 3: Dragons of CityTown is an “epic” action fantasy.
Act 4: Long Live the Queen is a “brooding” musical.
The distinct plots, characters, and tones are connected by a framing device of four playwrights, each critiquing the choices of the others.
The 4 Acts can be presented all as one production, or each one can be produced on its own (slightly modified) as a standalone.

Additional stories set in the same world of Crespa Aquis will be coming in the future.
"Slightly Different" is my line of adaptations of existing works in the public domain.
Adapted from W. W. Jacobs' 1902 short story
This version is simplified to all take place in a single room, the White's living room. The characters are all the same - Mr. and Mrs. White, Herbert, Mr. Morris, and the factory worker. However, early scenes with Herbert and Mr. Morris are extended and are more specific than the original short story. Additionally, Mr. Morris serves as a narrator of sorts, greeting the audience with a prologue and returning for an epilogue at the end of the play.
